1. The external debt position represents the value of debt instruments (excluding equity instruments and financial derivatives) owed to or lent to the rest of the world by the domestic economy. Gross external debt, which includes debt liabilities to non-residents, is also presented by dividing it into public and publicly guaranteed debt, and private non?guaranteed debt. Public and publicly guaranteed debt comprises the debt of sectors S.13, S.121, as well as the debt of all other sectors if it carries a state guarantee. Private non?guaranteed debt includes all remaining liabilities. 2. Data become final according to the revision policy. 3.
