Electronic money means electronically, including magnetically, stored monetary value as represented by a claim on the issuer which is issued on receipt of funds for the purpose of making payment transactions as defined in point 5 of Article 4 of Directive 2007/64/EC, and which is accepted by a natural or legal person other than the elec tronic money issuer.(Directive 2009/110/ES, article 2(2)).
Data include payments with cards on which e-money can be stored directly and payments with e-money accounts. E-money accounts can be accessed through: a card, mobile payment solution and through other channels.
E-money payments are dissagregated according to payments in Slovenia and cross-border payments.
