Data include payment cards acquired by domestic: payment service providers and service providers to whom the Payment Services, Electronic Money Issuance Services and Payment Systems Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, Nos. 7/18, 9/18 [corrigendum] and 102/20) does not apply in accordance with Article 3 of the aforementioned law.
Also payments with cards with e-money function are included.
Card payments are dissagregated according to innitiation channel: initated non-electronically, initated electronically -ATM, initated electronically - EFTPOS, initated electronically - mobile payment solution and initated electronically - other.
Card payments initiated non-electronically include trransactions initiated at a physical terminal through a manual authorisation procedure (e.g. imprinters) (card present transactions) or payments initiated via mail order or telephone order (MOTO) (card not present transaction).
Card payments initiated electronically include transactions initiated at ATM, EFTPOS, transactions-Mobile payment solution and transactions through other electronic channels.
Mobile payment solution - used to innitiate payments for which the payments data and the payment instructions are transmitted and/or confirmed via mobile communication and data transmission technology through a mobile device. This category includes digital wallets and other mobile payment solutions.
