Table 1.2.: Consolidated Balance Sheet of the Monetary Financial Institutions The table shows the end of the month consolidated balance sheet of Bank of Slovenia and other monetary financial institutions, presented in the tables 1.3. and 1.4. The bilateral claims and liabilities of the sectors S.122 and S.121 are netted out. On the liability side of the balance sheet the liabilities to the central government sector (S.1311) in certain items are excluded and are included in the remaining liabilities. The item 'Banknotes and coins' is for series after 1 January 2007 calculated on the basis of the Capital Share Mechanism (CSM) which foresees the split of the total amount issued in the euro area between the different National central banks of the euro area with respect to their share in the capital of the ECB (8% of the total value of the euro area banknotes in circulation is allotted to the ECB). Coins (which are in fact the liability of the central government) are added to the total amount of banknotes.
